We sell only natural hair. Its care is not particularly difficult, but it is crucial, as the lifespan and condition of the hair will depend on proper maintenance.

How to sleep with hair extensions

Remember to always brush your hair before bed and either braid it or tie it in a loose ponytail. Never go to sleep with wet, unbrushed, or untied hair to prevent tangling.

Washing

Washing your hair should be done in an upright position, where the water flows from above, preventing the hair from tangling. It's important to wash your hair with lukewarm water and avoid circular motions. Instead, gently massage the spaces between the bonds with your fingertips to thoroughly clean the scalp, as the hair near the scalp and the scalp itself are the dirtiest. Then, smooth the extensions—never rub or scrub them, as this can cause tangles. Gently press the hair with a towel to remove excess water. It's essential to maintain an upright position at every stage of hair care.

Be cautious when using a hair salon sink. Ensure that the person performing the treatment is experienced with hair extensions; otherwise, even the best hair can become tangled. Use hair products that are free of alcohol and proteins, as these can damage the hair and its bonds. Avoid using regenerative or volumizing shampoos. These shampoos have an alkaline pH (above neutral pH 7), which opens up the hair cuticles. Prolonged use of regenerative or volumizing shampoos can lead to frizz, making the hair feel rough and unpleasant to the touch.

Extended hair requires intense moisturizing because, while it's natural hair, it is no longer alive. Use good conditioners and shampoos with intensive moisturizing properties. Proper care is essential for the longevity and appearance of your hair.

Brushing

Before washing, the hair should be thoroughly brushed. After washing, it’s important to dry the hair well before brushing (it is recommended to gently run your fingers through the hair and let it air dry naturally). Then, gently detangle the hair, starting from the ends and working your way up. During the day, brush your hair as needed (at least twice a day). Use a special brush with triple bristle regulation, designed to detangle the spaces between the bonds. Overstretched hair will tangle and frizz excessively. Be sure to brush very gently! Avoid pulling!

Drying and styling

Natural hair can be dried using warm air from a hair dryer, styled as desired, and can also be straightened with a flat iron or curled with a curling iron. When straightening, curling, crimping, or blow-drying hair, it is recommended to use leave-in conditioners or balms that protect hair from high temperatures. If you are using a straightener or curling iron, avoid applying heat directly to the roots where the bonds are located.

Coloring and other chemical treatments

Hair that has been prepared for a specific color can be dyed, but it is important to remember that this procedure is done at your own risk (which voids the warranty) due to the varying ways it can be performed. You must also consider that it is a chemical treatment, and improper application may damage the hair. It is recommended to dye natural hair, but only with dye mixed with 1.5-2% hydrogen peroxide; higher concentrations of hairdresser-grade hydrogen peroxide should be diluted. Often, just 10 minutes is enough to color the extensions. A good way to refresh your hairstyle is to dye only the crown of your head or the roots.

Special care for curly and wavy hair

Wavy or curly hair should be cared for similarly to permed hair, meaning it is recommended to use products and conditioners designed for permed hair, as well as deep moisturizing treatments. It is essential to "weigh down" and moisturize curly hair using quality products, which will prevent frizz and give the hair a neat appearance. Curly hair should be thoroughly brushed before washing. Then, according to the instructions, wash the hair, being careful not to use circular motions during washing, as these can cause unnecessary tangling. After washing and applying a conditioner or mask, wait until the hair is almost dry (slightly damp). Then, gently comb through the hair and apply oil, using a squeezing motion to enhance the curl definition.

Additional information

While playing sports or swimming in a pool, it's important to tie your hair in a braid (chlorinated and salty water can damage the hair!). After swimming in a pool (chlorinated water) or in the sea, it is essential to wash or rinse your hair.

General notes

- hair should not be subjected to aggressive chemical treatments, such as lightening. It's best to use a toner to change the color (at your own risk).

- do not overheat the bonds.

- do not apply any products to the bonds, regardless of the method, as this may cause the hair extensions to slip.

- do not use silk products for natural hair care.

- all types of oils and high-quality silicones are recommended.

- when dyeing at your own risk, we recommend using hair-nourishing boosters.
